Amit and Ruby Tandon are going through turbulent times. However, a close friend is going all out to help the couple by taking care of their 7-year-old daughter, Jiyana. Read on...
It has been nearly 4 months since Amit Tandon’s
wife, Ruby, has been locked up in Dubai jail. Goes without saying, the actor
pays her a visit regularly and is often away from home.
Now, SpotboyE.com has learnt that while Amit is away, a
close friend has volunteered to take care of the couple’s 7-year-old daughter,
Jiyana.
Who is it, you ask? Well, it’s Mouni Roy.
Says a source, “Mouni-Ruby are best of friends and the
actress is doing everything possible to let Amit concentrate on resolving the
legal issue. She takes care of Jiyana while the actor is away and even bends
her schedule as far as possible.”

Adds the source, “Jiyana is close to Mouni and there is
no one better than the actress to take of her in these turbulent times.”
Meanwhile, ever since Ruby found herself behind bars,
Amit and Mouni, who were not on talking terms till a while ago, have become
friends again. The two are in constant touch over the progress of Ruby’s case.
A few days ago, Amit extended wishes to Mouni on her
birthday. He wrote, “Wish you a happy birthday @imouniroy . May you
get all that you wish for and may your loved ones also be blessed.”
For those who have come in late, Ruby, who is a renowned dermatologist, has a roaring practice in Andheri and Santacruz in Mumbai. Several TV and Bollywood stars such as Sanjeeda Sheikh, Iqbal Khan, Lucky Morani, Rohit Varma, Vikram Bhatt and producer Suhana Sinha to name a few are part of her clientele.
The lady has been behind bars for a while now and her
bail has been rejected a couple of
times.
Amit was by her side throughout the ordeal. A friend of Ruby had told us that
certain DHA (Dubai Health Authority) officials have alleged that Ruby
threatened a few government officials.
Coming back to Mouni’s gesture, well, she is the perfect
example of “A friend in need is a friend indeed.”
